Often, we think of Nature

as it it were a goddess,

at Science and its clergies

as it were a new religion,

and to the traditions of the ancient cultures

as if they were laws.

Always demanding that Nature,

Science and Traditions,

be all entities to serve our endless, insatiable

ambitions of supremacy

and exploitation  of the living world.
